The developers are seeking:

Demolition of the existing buildings on the site and construction of a mixed use development comprising shops (as of right) and dwellings, a reduction in the car parking requirement, a reduction in the bicycle parking requirement, alter access to a Category 1 Road and public realm works in a Commercial 1 Zone, Design and Development Overlay and Heritage Overlay

The proposal seeks to construct a 58 storey mixed use development comprising 660 dwellings and 4530sqm of ground and first floor shops. The development sits above multiple levels of basement for 630 car spaces. The proposal will reach a height of approximately 190m above footpath level. It is noted that the site benefits from an existing approval for a 41 storey mixed use development (approx 133m) comprising 483 dwellings, 3539sqm of shop area and 553 car spaces.
